The item was perfect, everything worked fine, why "worked"?
Well, my cat got scared and threw it on the ground and ran away hitting it even more, resulting in the spring for picking up the leash no longer working. That was my mistake. Setting that aside, the little use I gave it to test it was: it works perfectly. I must say that the exterior and interior material (except for the spring) are resistant. I recommend it, but be careful that your pets don't get scared and run away with the leash on.
